in Italia multa milia servorum, quae coniuraverant, aegre comprehensa et supplicio consumpta. in Sicilia fugitivi Romanos exercitus necaverunt. Numantia diruta. In Italy many thousands of slaves, who had conspired, were caught with difficulty and killed through torture. In Sicily the runaway slaves slaughtered the Roman armies. Numantia was destroyed.
